Ajax 38213.78.NC 6V PSU (type A) for low-voltage and external battery power | 4.2-10 V DC Input Voltage

The Ajax 6V PSU (type A) is an alternative internal power supply board for selected Ajax hubs and the ReX 2 range extender. It replaces the standard 110/230 V mains power supply board and allows the device to operate from a suitable 4.2–10 V DC source or external battery.

It is particularly useful where normal mains electricity is unavailable or unreliable, including construction sites, vacant properties and other off-grid security installations.

Choose the Right Option

Choose the 6V PSU (type A) when your external battery or DC source operates within 4.2–10 V DC.

If your installation uses an 8–32 V DC source, including typical 12 V or 24 V battery and vehicle systems, use the Ajax 12-24V PSU (type A) instead.

Before You Buy

• Compatible with Hub (4G) Jeweller, Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller, Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller, Hub 2 Plus Jeweller and ReX 2 Jeweller.
• The external battery or low-voltage power source is not included.
• Do not connect a battery or power source rated at 12 V or higher to the 6V PSU (type A). Use the Ajax 12-24V PSU (type A) for suitable higher-voltage installations.
• The 6V PSU replaces the standard mains PSU; it is not an additional dual-input power supply. The device operates with either its standard PSU or the alternative PSU.
• The 6V PSU (type A) is not compatible with Superior Hub Hybrid (2G) or Superior Hub Hybrid (4G).
• Ajax specifies installation by a qualified electrician. Disconnect the device from mains power before replacing the internal PSU board.
