Ajax Hub 2 (4G) – 100 Zone Control Panel

Ajax Hub 2 (4G) is smart, tamperproof and ready to work out the box. It includes a built-in power supply, battery, ethernet port and 2x 4G (LTE) SIM card slots all smartly integrated into the compact control panel enclosure.

Setting up the system is a breeze. Simply connect the hub to power and internet, scan the hub QR code using the Ajax mobile app and it’s ready to use.

Communication with the outside world is critical for the security system control panel. Its reliability and stability guarantee timely alarm transmission to the armed response companies and users.

Hub 2 (4G) can be simultaneously connected to three Internet service providers — via Ethernet cable and 2G, 3G and LTE 2 cellular networks. The automatic switching between channels takes seconds.

Controlled with apps

Ajax refrained from control buttons on the control panel body and archaic interfaces, apps are more convenient and reliable. They connect to a hub via a secure channel through the Ajax Cloud server located in several AWS data centres.

Apps allow system users with administrator rights to manage the security of the facility, change settings of the hub and the devices connected to it, create scenarios and monitor events from a smartphone or a PC, on site and remotely.

Ajax Mobile App Download:

Hub control panels are set up using the Ajax mobile app for Android and iOS devices. Wireless devices are paired to the Hub by scanning their QR Codes, no programming or technical skills required!!

Alarm photo verification in 9 seconds

Hub 2 Plus works with MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor motion detectors. When detectors are triggered, they take a series of photos. It helps to evaluate the situation at the facility. Visual verification helps you instantly assess the situation, relieving users of unnecessary anxiety, and security companies — from false calls of patrols.

Automates Security

Create scenarios to minimise the impact of human factor on security. Scenarios enables the Hub to arm and disarm the complete system or groups by schedule, activate smoke machines when device is triggered or shut off water when a leak is detected. Control lights, electric locks, roller shutters, and garage doors by arming/disarming, button press or alarm detection.

Future-proof

Hub 2 runs OS Malevich — a real-time operating system developed by Ajax Systems. OS Malevich is extremely stable, immune to viruses, and protected from cyberattacks. Modular architecture simplifies the constant upgrading of OS Malevich.

Hub receives new features several times a year with over-the-air updates. The update process is automatic and takes minutes when the security system is disarmed. The hardware configuration will allow Hub 2 to evolve and remain relevant for years to come.

Armed Response Linkup

Via Cloud – There are hundreds of South African armed response companies that have the Ajax software installed on their monitoring systems. You will find a list of these companies on the Ajax mobile app. If the company of your choice is not on the list, Contact Us with the Company Name, Contact Person and Location so that we can refer them to our Ajax support team.

Via Ajax Hardware – Should your armed response company not be Ajax ready, an Ajax vhfBridge is can be used to connect to their radio transmitter. Alternatively two Ajax Relays can be connected, one for alarm and one for panic.

Hub PSU (Power Supply Unit):

Ajax Hub has a built-in 220v PSU including a battery for backup. However should you want to install the Hub in yachts, caravans, building sites or properties where no 220v power is available, the 220v PSU can be easily replaced with an Ajax 12/24v PSU for a low voltage power feed and Solar setup.

Justworx IoT SIM Card for Backup to Internet Failure

Ajax Hubs rely on the internet for remote communication and include SIM card slots for backup to internet failure. Justworx SIM Cards are non-steering meaning they automatically connect to the strongest network in the area (Vodacom and MTN supported in South Africa) ensuring the Hub remains connected to Ajax cloud. Data is included for up to 30 years, dependent on selected package.
