Indoor Use – excludes Enclosure:

Ajax DoorProtect have powerful magnets and are perfect to use on normal doors and windows. The magnetic field of the heavy duty aluminium Roller Shutter door contact is much wider and better suited for Garage Doors, Roller Shutters and other access points where a wider magnetic field is required. If the Ajax DoorProtect is used indoors, then no Enclosure is required.

Outdoor Use – includes Enclosure:

Ajax Transmitters and DoorProtects are not designed for outdoor use, therefore they must be installed in a waterproof enclosure. The heavy duty aluminium Roller Shutter door contact is attached to driveway gates or other access points and wired into the Ajax DoorProtect or Transmitter.

Ajax Mobile App Setup

The Gate Alarm can be armed and disarmed together with the rest of the system or can be controlled completely independently by creating its own group (partition). When the gates, garage doors or access other points are opened while armed, system users and armed response companies are immediately notified along with any connected sirens to scare off intruders.

In the disarmed state, the Ajax app indicates the status of the door / gate (open or closed).

Our Gate Alarm kits are available in three options as follows:

Option 1:

• 1x Ajax DoorProtect
• 1x Heavy duty outdoor aluminium magnetic contact (wired into DoorProtect)
• 1x Enclosure to protect the Transmitter from outdoor elements

Option 2:

• 1x Ajax DoorProtect
• 1x Heavy duty outdoor aluminium magnetic contact (wired into DoorProtect)
• Excludes Enclosure – For indoor use only

Option 3:

• 1x Ajax Transmitter
• 1x Heavy duty outdoor aluminium magnetic contact (wired into Transmitter)
• 1x Enclosure to protect the Transmitter from outdoor elements
