Ajax 24-Hour Gate Alarm Kit

Our custom Ajax 24-Hour Gate Alarm Kit is designed to monitor and protect gates, garage doors, roller shutters and other normally closed access points around the clock.

The Gate Alarm is armed 24/7 and only temporarily bypassed via either a timer relay or the gate/garage motor’s courtesy light timer when an access point is opened using an authorised method such as a remote control or the Ajax app. If the access point is forced open or accessed without authorised method, the alarm is instantly triggered.

If the gate or access point needs to remain open longer than the configured bypass time, the alarm can be manually disarmed via the Ajax mobile app.

Customisable Kit Options:

This is a configurable kit allowing you to select the components and quantities required for your specific setup and includes 50cm x 6-Core communication cable for each relay purchased:

• Timer Relay Board
  

  Select this option if your gate motor does not have a programmable courtesy light timer function — or if the courtesy light timer is already in use. The timer relay temporarily bypasses the alarm for a set duration after authorised access.

• Single Pole Relay
  

  Choose this option if your gate or garage controller has a built-in courtesy light timer. A single pole relay is used to link the timer output to the Ajax alarm system.

• Waterproof Enclosure
  

  Required if the Ajax DoorProtect will be installed outdoors or dusty environments. The enclosure protects the device from weather exposure and ensures reliable long-term operation.

Ajax App Setup:

This gate alarm kit is designed to remain permanently armed and only bypassed briefly when triggered by an authorised action.

• If Group Mode is enabled, create a dedicated group for 24-hour devices.
• Alternatively, set the Ajax DoorProtect as Always Active in the Ajax app.
