About Byrna SD Launcher

The Byrna SD is a powerful, non-lethal self-defence device designed to provide personal security without the need for firearms. This compact, CO2-powered launcher fires chemical irritant projectiles that can incapacitate threats from a safe distance making it ideal for both home and personal defence. With its easy-to-use design, accuracy and effectiveness, the Byrna SD offers a reliable and legal alternative for those seeking protection without lethal force.

The Byrna SD launcher uses 8-gram CO2 cartridges capable of firing between 15 and 20 rounds per cartridge. By fitting the 12-gram SD Boost adapter which extends the barrel of the SD launcher, it can then accommodate the 12-gram CO2 cartridges which increase the rounds per cartridge up to 30 as well as boosting the velocity by approximately 1.8 meters per second (MPS).

An extremely effective CO2 powered non-lethal security device that delivers a payload of a chemical irritant (OC, CS, PAVA) and solid projectiles.

Important Note:
Once pierced, CO₂ cartridges will slowly lose pressure over time. To stay prepared, always store an unpierced cartridge in the launcher until needed.
