The Mecer 12.8V 200Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery is a high-capacity battery designed for backup power, inverter systems, solar energy storage and general 12V power applications. With a 2560Wh energy capacity and built-in BMS protection, it offers a practical lithium replacement option where longer runtime and improved efficiency are required compared to traditional lead-acid batteries.

This updated SOL-B-L-M200P version uses a pouch-cell configuration making it lighter than the previous prismatic-cell model. It is suitable for homes, small businesses, security systems, telecom equipment, emergency lighting and other backup power installations.

Key Features

200Ah LiFePO4 Battery Capacity

With a 12.8V nominal voltage and 200Ah capacity, this battery provides up to 2560Wh of stored energy, making it suitable for larger backup power systems, inverter trolleys, solar storage and extended runtime applications.

Built-in Battery Management System

The integrated BMS helps protect the battery during operation by managing key battery safety functions such as charge, discharge and cell protection. This helps improve reliability and battery lifespan when the battery is used within the recommended operating limits.

Newer Pouch-Cell Configuration

The SOL-B-L-M200P model uses a pouch-cell configuration and weighs approximately 20 kg, making it easier to handle and install compared to the older SOL-B-L-M200 prismatic-cell version.

Suitable for Backup and Energy Storage Applications

This battery is well suited for South African backup power needs, including load-shedding backup, inverter systems, solar power storage, security systems, emergency lighting and other 12V power applications.

Series Connection Supported

Up to 4 new batteries may be connected in series for systems up to 48V. Parallel battery connection is not supported.

Important Installation Notes

This battery must be installed according to the manufacturer’s connection guidelines.

• Maximum series connection: 4 batteries / 48V
• Parallel battery connection is not supported
• Do not connect old and new batteries together in series
• Batteries used in series should be the same model, age and condition
• For parallel applications, compatible inverters must be configured in parallel instead of connecting the batteries directly in parallel
• Always confirm inverter and charger compatibility before installation
