When on the AOV mode, in addition to normal detection-triggered videos, the HB90x Dual 4G camera can capture images at pre-set time intervals⁵ and process them to create a smooth time-lapse video showing the changes over time, even when there is no activity. You can now obtain all-day recording on a battery-powered camera without having to plug it into a power outlet.

Unlike other battery cameras that heavily rely on PIR sensors to capture only nearby activities, this camera can detect an approaching person or vehicle at a much greater distance. If a person or vehicle appears, it will immediately notice that and inform you straight away.

Night is now bright and colourful

Blurred and pixelated night vision is now a thing of the past. The improved lens with the large F1.2 aperture captures more light and thus enables long-range colour night vision of up to 35 meters.⁷ What’s better, you can choose between the colour mode or the infrared mode as you’d like.

Wherever you install the HB90 Dual camera, it manages to comprehend the surrounding objects to automatically create an evenly exposed, clear image, even in the dark. Users can choose to enable the “Balanced Image Exposure” option via the EZVIZ App at any time.

1  The inclusion of the supporting solar panel in the HB90 Dual is intended to provide an additional power source for the main device, helping to extend the battery life of the camera to reduce the frequency of recharging. To prolong the battery life, we recommend you to enable the AOV mode for wiser battery consumption. Please note that the HB90 Dual only supports working with the EZVIZ Solar Panels that use Type-C charging cables.

4  When the AOV mode is enabled, according to EZVIZ Lab’s test results under standard conditions, the HB90 Dual is able to detect movements at a distance of up to 25 meters during the day, and up to 12 meters during the nighttime. The actual detection range may differ due to other environmental factors.
