How It Works

Each outdoor doorphone connects by wire to the indoor touchscreen. The system uses a 2-wire digital connection and can also work with suitable 4-wire installations. The indoor monitor connects to your home network over 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi for EZVIZ App access.

Each outdoor unit provides terminals for the indoor screen, automated gate control and a compatible electric strike. The outdoor panels receive 24 V DC power from the indoor monitor.

Complete Your Setup

The optional EZVIZ SD7 Smart Screen, model CS-SD7-R100-1WTC, is compatible with the HP7 video doorphone system and can provide an additional screen in another room.

The indoor monitor supports a microSD card of up to 512 GB for local recording. The card is sold separately. EZVIZ CloudPlay is also supported where the service is available.

Before You Buy

• The system requires wired connections between the indoor monitor and both outdoor doorphones.
• Maximum transmission distance depends on the cable used: up to 50 m with 2 × 0.75 mm² cable, 100 m with 2 × 1.5 mm² cable or 120 m with suitable twisted-pair cable.
• The automated gate connection uses a dry contact rated up to 12 V / 2 A, with a specified gate connection distance of 1–10 m.
• A connected electric strike or lock must meet the HP7 electrical requirements, including a maximum 12 V / 1.1 A supply and mechanical memory as specified for the system.
• The monitor is supplied with a 24 V DC / 1 A power adapter. Gate motors, electric strikes and other access hardware are not listed as included.
• Remote app functions require suitable Wi-Fi and internet connectivity.
