The Ajax SoloButton 2-Gang is the touch-sensitive front panel used to complete a standalone Ajax 2-Gang LightSwitch. It provides two separate touch-control areas for independently operating the two channels of a compatible Ajax LightCore 2-Gang.

The SoloButton combines the visible switch face and single-switch frame into one component. Choose Black or White to suit the installation while keeping the concealed LightCore unchanged.

If you already have a compatible LightCore 2-Gang, the SoloButton can be purchased separately as the required front panel or as a replacement. Otherwise, choose the LightCore and, where needed, the South African wall-box adapter using the Product Add-ons on this page.

How It Works

The SoloButton attaches mechanically to the Ajax LightCore 2-Gang without tools. Its two touch-sensitive areas correspond to the two independently controlled channels of the LightCore.

The completed LightSwitch can be operated by touching the panel or by bringing a hand within approximately 15 mm of it. Soft backlighting helps make the switch easy to locate in low light.

The touch-sensitive panel also contains the antennas used for communication with the Ajax system, so the panel should be fitted before the completed LightSwitch is added to a compatible Ajax hub.

• The SoloButton 2-Gang is designed for a standalone 2-gang LightSwitch controlling two independent channels.
• For combined multi-device Ajax Frame installations, use the appropriate CenterButton or SideButton 2-Gang panel instead of SoloButton.
• For installation into a standard South African 100 × 50 mm / 4 × 2 wall box, add the IoT 4 × 2 Wall Box Installation Adapter.
• Electrical load ratings, no-neutral operation and circuit switching are determined by the LightCore 2-Gang rather than the SoloButton panel.
