Ajax ExternalAntenna for Ajax Hub BP

The Ajax ExternalAntenna is a dedicated communication accessory for the Ajax Hub BP Jeweller. Designed to improve the hub’s mobile and wireless performance, it allows you to position the antenna up to 3 metres away from the hub using the included SMA cable. This is particularly useful when the Hub BP is installed in locations with weak mobile reception or inside metal structures that block wireless signals.

As the Hub BP relies exclusively on SIM-based connectivity, strong LTE signal is essential for reliable alarm transmission and system communication. The ExternalAntenna ensures stable mobile connectivity by allowing you to place the antenna where signal reception is best, even if the hub itself must remain hidden or protected.

This antenna supports all communication channels used by the Hub BP, including 2G/3G/LTE mobile networks, Jeweller for wireless device control and Wings for image transmission from MotionCam detectors. The built-in tamper detection immediately alerts users if the antenna cable is cut or removed, maintaining the system’s security integrity.
