Reliable first-line perimeter detection

The Ajax Curtain Outdoor Mini Jeweller is designed to detect intrusion before an intruder reaches a window, doorway or narrow access point. Its curtain-style detection pattern creates a focused digital barrier, making it well suited to perimeter protection where broad-area outdoor detectors may be less practical. It can be used outdoors or indoors depending on the application.

Dual-technology detection with fewer false alarms

This detector combines PIR motion sensing with a built-in K-band microwave sensor. After the PIR sensor detects movement, the device performs an additional RF scan to help filter out false alarms caused by air movement, fans, air conditioners and other thermal disturbances. Ajax also uses its SmartDetect algorithm to further improve reliability in real-world environments.

Focused protection for narrow spaces

With a narrow 15° horizontal detection angle and a wide 100° vertical field of view, Curtain Outdoor Mini Jeweller is made for protecting windows, doors, gates, passages and other narrow perimeter zones. The maximum motion detection distance is 5 m, giving you precise coverage without unnecessarily exposing wider surrounding areas.

Pet immunity and flexible installation

The detector offers Main and Pet modes via a slider on the enclosure. When properly installed and configured in Pet mode, it can ignore pets up to around 70 cm high. Ajax recommends installing it at about 1 m height on a side surface for proper pet immunity. It can also be installed on a ceiling at up to 5 m, depending on the required coverage area.

Built for dependable Ajax system integration

Curtain Outdoor Mini Jeweller uses Jeweller to transmit alarms and events and Wings for firmware updates. Wireless communication range can reach up to 1,700 m in open space, and the detector supports anti-masking, tamper protection and monitoring station event transmission through the Ajax ecosystem. It requires a compatible Ajax hub with OS Malevich 2.34 or later.
