The Byrna SD launcher uses 8-gram CO2 cartridges capable of firing between 15 and 20 rounds per cartridge. By fitting the 12-gram SD Boost adapter which extends the barrel of the SD launcher, it can then accommodate the 12-gram CO2 cartridges which increase the rounds per cartridge up to 30 as well as boosting the velocity by approximately 1.8 meters per second (MPS).

NOTE: Any unused CO2 in pierced cartridges will leak out over time. Remain prepared for any eventuality and only leave unpierced Co2 cartridges in the launcher.
