About EZVIZ X5S NVR 8 Channel (Network Video Recorder)

The EZVIZ 8 Channel NVR (CS-X5S-R100-8W) is the perfect solution for monitoring and recording your surveillance footage with precision and ease. Designed for both wired and wireless connections, this NVR supports up to 8 cameras with 3K resolution, providing high-quality, crystal-clear video footage. It offers various video recording modes such as manual, motion detection, scheduled, and event-triggered recordings, ensuring you never miss important moments.

The X5S is a large-capacity storage solution tailored to support multi-camera security systems for 24/7 recording in even high video quality. Users can confidently save and keep important footage on the local NVR device, which ensures smooth storage and strict data protection.

Note: Battery cameras are not compatible with NVRs. Battery-powered cameras only transmit video during motion events to preserve battery life and cannot provide the continuous live stream required for NVR recording.

No detail is overlooked

The X5S NVR is designed to manage large-scale videos generated from security needs. In addition to a storage capacity that can be expanded to 8TB², the X5S also receives data and video files from up to 8 connected Wi-Fi cameras³ at the same time.

Connecting the X5S to an additional monitor offers even more convenience for multi-camera viewing – the user can display the footage collected by all connected cameras simultaneously on one screen. It supports up to 3K resolution for live or history videos, so you’ll hardly miss a thing.

Use H.265 to store and play large files efficiently

The X5S uses the H.265 video technology to compress high-resolution video files while maintaining the same video quality and smooth viewing experience for playbacks. You won’t have to worry about large video files taking up too much of your storage space or being too big to load fast – the H.265 technology reduces their sizes by up to 50%¹ and requires only 50% of the bandwidth when compared to H.264.
