Designed for low-data IoT devices, it automatically connects to the strongest available network between Vodacom and MTN ensuring seamless operation and uninterrupted performance.

These SIMs include prepaid data that remains valid for two years with no monthly expiry making them ideal for continuous or high-traffic applications.

SIM Registration / Activation

You can choose to pre-activate your SIM card by simply ticking the “Pre-activate my SIM card” option to ensure your SIM is ready for immediate use upon arrival.

If you’d prefer to activate it later, you can complete the process online any time via our Webbing SIM Registration page.

Important: To use the Webbing SIM card, ensure Roaming is enabled on your device and the APN is set to wbdata to ensure proper connectivity across supported networks.

SIM card Data and Term Renewal

The IoT SIM card will expire either at the end of the two-year term or once the data allocation has been fully used – whichever occurs first.

Platform Access & Notifications |Webbing Management Portal

Single-SIM users can track their data usage via a Webbing Data Usage Link and automatically receive email alerts when their data balance is low or their two-year term is nearing expiry.

Users who manage multiple SIM cards or require SMS functionality for remote commands such as APN changes, reboots, or location pings can request access to the Webbing Management Portal. The portal provides free portal-to-device SMS, 24/7 support, real-time SIM management and detailed usage monitoring offering complete visibility and control over all connected devices from one central platform.
