Note: Securi-Prod Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries are manufactured with F2 (6.35mm) spades which are larger than standard F1 (4.75mm) sockets in gate motors, alarm systems, battery chargers etc. Step down terminal adapters are required. Our batteries include the F2 to F1 adapters.

Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery Advantages

Lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) offer many benefits compared to other lithium batteries, lead-acid, gel and deep cycle batteries; Longer life span, no maintenance, extremely safe, lightweight, improved discharge and charge efficiency, built-in battery management system (BMS) just to name a few.

Lifespan

Lithium iron phosphate batteries have a high life cycle (over 3000 @ 80% Depth of Discharge) without a decrease in performance. LifePO4 batteries show no memory effects and due to low self-discharge (<3% per month), they can be stored for a longer period of time.

High Efficiency

Lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) have 100% of their capacity available. Additionally, their fast charge and discharge rates cause them to be a great fit for all sorts of applications. Fast charging reduces any downtime and increases efficiency. High discharge pulse currents deliver bursts of power in a short amount of time.

Product Warranty

Securi-Prod Lithium (LiFoPO4) batteries carry a 1-year limited warranty.

The following conditions may void all warranties on any equipment:

  • Any unauthorised modifications to the product or components,
  • Product has not been installed in accordance with the installation instructions provided,
  • Product is subject to misuse or which has been used for any purpose other than that designed for by the manufacturers,
  • Damage caused as a result of handling during transit, atmospheric conditions (including lightning), water, corrosion of metal parts, insect infestation, power surges or other forces outside of the control of STEMAR.

 

Products sold that have been deemed to be damaged due to vandalism, incorrect installation and application, ‘acts of God’ etc. will be repaired or replaced at the cost of the customer.

All goods that are deemed to be ‘faulty new’ or ‘Defective/Dead On Arrival’ must be returned to Stemar within 7 days from the date of purchase for a technical evaluation before they will be serviced, repaired or replaced.
