Ajax Hub (4G), not to be confused with Hub 2 (4G), is ready to work out the box and is set up using the mobile app for Android and iOS devices.

The Ajax Hub 4G Easy Starter Kit is available in Black and White and includes the following:

About Ajax Hub (4G)

Ajax Hub (4G) is based mostly on the original Ajax Hub’s technology, now upgraded with a 4G SIM slot replacing the 2G slot of the initial version. Unlike the Hub 2 (4G), this model does not include Wings Technology and is ideal for systems that do not require MotionCam detectors. Check Product Compatibility (external site).

Ajax Mobile App Download:

Hub control panels are set up using the Ajax mobile app for Android and iOS devices. Wireless devices are paired to the Hub by scanning their QR Codes, no programming or technical skills required!!

Seamless Setup:

It takes minutes to install Hub. Connect it to the Internet and plug the power cord. Then scan the QR code using Ajax app. In most cases, your devices won’t require any additional tuning. Hub begins to operate once online.

Automates Security

Create scenarios to minimise the impact of human factor on security. Scenarios enables the Hub to arm and disarm the complete system or groups by schedule, activate smoke machines when device is triggered or shut off water when a leak is detected. Control lights, electric locks, roller shutters, and garage doors by arming/disarming, button press or alarm detection.

Armed Response Linkup

Via Cloud – There are hundreds of South African armed response companies that have the Ajax software installed on their monitoring systems. You will find a list of these companies on the Ajax mobile app. If the company of your choice is not on the list, Contact Us with the Company Name, Contact Person and Location so that we can refer them to our Ajax support team.

Via Ajax Hardware – Should your armed response company not be Ajax ready, an Ajax vhfBridge is can be used to connect to their radio transmitter. Alternatively two Ajax Relays can be connected, one for alarm and one for panic.

PSU (Power Supply Unit)

Ajax Hubs and Rex range extenders have integrated 220v PSU’s and include battery backup. However should you want to install the Hub in yachts, caravans, building sites or properties where no 220v power is available, the 220v PSU can easily be replaced with Ajax Low Voltage PSU’s.

Justworx IoT SIM Card for Backup to Internet Failure

Ajax Hub 4G relies on the internet for remote communication and includes a 4G/LTE SIM card slot for backup to internet failure. Justworx are non-steering SIM cards that automatically connect to the strongest Vodacom or MTN network in your area to ensure the Hub remains connected to Ajax cloud. Justworx SIM card includes Data for up to 30 years (depending on selected package).
