Duke Sonic Boom Kit comes standard with a fully reusable core inside a pre-packed plastic shell. Just pull the safety clip, thump the depressible head and throw it in the direction of the intended target. Once used, pick up the spent parts, wash off any debris and leave to dry. The core is now ready to be reused.

Duke Sonic Boom Kit (±130dB)

The Duke Sonic Boom has been proudly developed and patented in South Africa. The Duke Sonic Boom has a detonation time of approximately 4-5 seconds, which offers the thrower enough time to lob the device into the desired area, but not enough time for the targets to escape.

The Sonic Boom is drop-safe with the safety pin and military-grade pressure spring preventing any accidental detonations. We have put the Sonic Boom Kit through a rigorous testing process to ensure total safety for the carrier, thrower, as well as intended target.

The kit comes standard with a fully re-usable core inside a pre-packed plastic shell. Just pull the pin, thump the depressible head and throw it in the direction of the intended target. Once the device has been used, pick up the spent parts, wash off any debris and leave to dry. The core is now ready to be re-used. Spent bottles can be replaced by purchasing a refill kit.

Instructions & Precautions

INSTRUCTIONS: To be used by professionally trained personnel, military, law enforcement, security, correctional services as a self-defence product. Reduce injuries or accidental discharge by following these instructions.

Pull the safety ring to ensure that the Sonic Boom can be activated. To activate the device, depress the plunger on the top of the Sonic Boom with a sharp bump, either with the palm of your hand or against a hard surface. Throw the Sonic Boom towards the target, the delay on the device rupture will be approximately 4-5 seconds from activation. Spent bottles can be replaced by purchasing a refill kit.

PRECAUTIONS: Do not keep the Sonic Boom in your hands after activation, it could cause physical harm. Do not incinerate the device as the internal CO2 canister is under pressure. Store in a cool dry place, do not expose the device to temperatures over 50°C or under 0°C.
